The Minimum Wage Order 2024 was gazetted on 4 December 2024 and will be enforced in two stages. Starting 1 February 2025, a minimum monthly wage of RM1,700 will apply to employers with five or more employees and those categorized as MASCO Employers. By 1 August 2025, the same wage standard will extend to all employers in Malaysia, ensuring fair pay for workers across the nation.
